Abstract
This article presents a diagnosis of the recent situation of mobility in the Historical Center (CH) of Puebla and its evolution between 1993 and 2010. We saw a dramatic loss of population (-52%) and a corresponding growth of the outskirts. We propose a reflection on this problem, namely, through an analysis of the parking situation and look for proposals to have a more sustainable CH and revitalize it with, among others, adequate parking policies and continue with the promotion of non-motorized modes.
