Abstract

Angels have had several presences in art, in this case we talk about the Angelical sculptu- re in the Cemetery of Santa Mary Magdalena de Pazzis in San Juan, Puerto Rico. A docu- ment to track the background of the angels’ typology has been made, followed by geogra- phically locating the city of San Juan and the cemetery as well as the location of several monuments and the representation of the angels, supported by photographic field work. All of this within the project of heritage cemeteries with the objective of spread funerary heritage.
